I have so much mixed information on Aviator Caps and I would like to find out once and for all how they truly work.

Do they only TRAIN you in a stat, or do they add to your total stat? Is putting an Aviator on a Capped, Maxed dog completely useless, or can you still increase stats with one? Is it only for dogs in training?

Someone elaborate please, I am so confused.
